Today we learned how to suture in ECM [essentials of clinical medicine] and it was a lot harder than imagined. not only are there a ton of different knots and suture types, but the tools are pretty hard to get used to. we started off with rope and learned how to tie different suture knots. then we stepped it up a notch and each of us got a pig's foot, suture thread with needle and of course, gloves [some of em were a lil bloody at the end but it was a pretty clean set-up dont worry]. im gonna need a LOT more practice before i do that on real people!
